The Band Board is looking for volunteers who would like to get involved in a different way. Some positions can be done from home with a computer, while others require feet on the ground. We have the following committee positions available:
The Board would also gladly welcome any parents interested in sharing/shadowing the following Board position with current officers.

BAND BANQUET - 2017/18 CELEBRATION!
As the 2017/18 band year comes to an end, the band and orchestra celebrated in style with a fabulous feast catered by Bambinelli's Pizza and Pasta! Congratulations to all band students for their many musical accomplishments.
Best wishes to the Seniors on their future endeavors. Don't forget to come back to visit all of your band buddies at Homecoming on October 12th!
Many thanks to Demetra Overton & Stephanie Duffy for organizing an exceptional dinner and tremendous thanks to all the parent volunteers who contributed their time to ensure this event was a great success! Also, thank you to Will Strickland, a CHS band alumnus, who was the D.J. at the “After Party” where a great time was had by all!

WIND ENSEMBLE STUDENTS PERFORMING AT GRADUATION
All Wind Ensemble students that are not graduating seniors are performing with the full orchestra at graduation on Monday, May 21st. Please wear full concert uniforms, dresses and tuxedos. Schedule as follows:
3:00pm- Call Time for students at CHS- Check in before boarding buses
3:30pm- Depart CHS via charter buses to Verizon Ampitheater
4:15pm- Rehearsal and sound check on-stage at Verizon
5:30pm- Dinner Break- Boxed dinners from Jason’s Deli
6:30pm- Students on stage/tuning
6:45pm- Begin Prelude (American Landscape/Grand March/Centennial Overture)
7:00pm- Graduation Processional- Pomp & Circumstance
9:00pm- Graduation Recessional- Millenium
9:30pm- Load buses to return to Centennial High School
10:00pm- Arrival at CHS- Parent Pick-up
The last session will be held on May 17th from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Centennial band room and are for any and all interested in percussion for next marching band season. No percussion experience necessary. Haynes and Holcomb Eighth Graders are very, very welcome!
