Just as the Mighty Marching Knights were about to take the field at South Forsyth H.S., the skies opened up. Thanks to Mother Nature, marching band fans will have to wait another week to see the progress on the Havana Knights show. Before heading for shelter, the band had enjoyed a fun first half playing stand tunes and cheering on the football team.

NEW DRESS CODE FOR MARCHING BAND OUTDOOR PRACTICES
Mr. Reid and Mr. Ehrlich are now requesting that marching band students wear white shirts and dark shorts to all outdoor practices. The shirts should be mostly white, meaning it is okay if they have some graphics or writing. The shorts should be black, navy, dark gray, etc. There are two reasons for this policy: (1) it encourages students to wear the coolest clothing possible to rehearsal, and (2) setting drill is considerably easier when students have matching attire. This practice is seen at many other high schools in Fulton, Cobb, and Gwinnett counties. Students were briefed on this change at close out after Fridays’ game. Thanks for your cooperation!

Issues with Online Payments: Some folks have reported issues with online payments. We are investigating with the website developers, but it appears that this occurs when someone tries to apply an account credit and PayPal payment at the same time. If you have this issue, please submit the account credit first, then go back and initiate a payment separately. If you continue to have issues, please help me diagnose the problem by taking detailed notes of what you have done & what screens you are seeing and send them to email@example.com. THANKS!
