Registration: July 14th: 3 - 5 PM and July 15th 10:30 AM (a parent must come to one of these sessions)

The student 2024 Handbook contains a great deal of information about rules, procedures and fees
Fees
All marching band fees are due in full by the start of band camp. You can make payments with credit/debit, Google Pay or ACH using this form or by bringing a check made out to CHS Band Boosters to registration at the start of band camp.
Payment for fees can also be made via check made out to "CHS Band Boosters".
If you have financial concerns, please email Mr. Everhart ([email protected]) to talk about arrangements that might be possible.
Preparation
On July 14th, there will be a volunteer booster work day at the band room from 3 PM to 6 PM where we will organize equipment, sort uniforms, build props and other fun / important things to get ready for the season. Meet the other parents and find out about all the really cool fun opportunities to volunteer with the band boosters throughout the year. We would love to have anyone come who would like to contribute their time.
Camp Schedule
Full Band Camp starts on July 15th at 12 PM. The band students will be learning basic marching moves as well as the formations and music for this year’s show!
On the last day, band camp ends with a parent meeting at 6 PM and a performance by the band at 7 PM for all the parents. After the performance, dinner will be served!

How To Band Camp
- Eat lunch BEFORE arriving. You must eat something before camp starts or you will get cranky and sick and that's no fun at all!
- Bring food for dinner (or pre-order dinners from the boosters on select days)
- Wear clothes suitable for being active outside
- Tennis/running shoes
- Hat
- No sandals, basketball shoes, clogs or army boots.
- Bring plenty of water (more than seems necessary...) , sunscreen, and bug spray
- Bring your instrument
- We will check out school-owned instruments on the first day of camp
- Avoid milk and sugary drinks during camp. See note about about cranky and sick.
