Current News 2018 BAND BANQUET - RSVP DEADLINE: MAY 4TH Don't forget that our end-of-year banquet is on May 11th, and RSVPs are due by May 4th. Director’s awards along with traditional Senior paper plate awards will be presented during the Awards Ceremony. This year, Band and Orchestra will be celebrating together, although with separate award ceremonies. We need to know how many to order food for, so please RSVP. Event details including a schedule, food served, volunteers needed, cost and RSVP options are available on this form. If you are able to make your payment using the Charms option, we ask that you do. This method helps us keep the most accurate count on RSVPs. Even though payment is not required for band students, please place an order for your student(s) as well (at no charge). The Spring Concert on Thursday was a spectacular show! The students, Mr. Reid and Mr. Ehrlich gave it their all! A special thanks to senior student conductor Caroline Parham, percussion director Justin Baker, and volunteer flute instructor Jennifer Willis! The participation fee is $80. Please pay by cash or check payable to "CHS Band Boosters" and place in an envelope labeled with student's name and jazz band. Then place the envelope in the drop box outside Mr. Reid's office. Drumming/Chops Sessions The remaining sessions will be held on May 3rd, May 10th (drumline auditions) and May 17th from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Centennial band room and are for any and all interested in percussion for next marching band season. No percussion experience necessary. Haynes and Holcomb Eighth Graders are very, very welcome!
