2017-18 Marching Band Registration
Registration is NOW OPEN!!! Registration Deadline is March 31st. Please click on My Account/Forms and look for the new packetcalled 2017 Marching Band! CHOCOLATE SALE FUNDRAISER Time is running out to sell chocolate to earn credit for your fees. Boxes of chocolate can still be purchased for $60 in advance. You will keep all the proceeds and your band account will be credited $30. Further details can be found on the Fundraising page. Questions: Contact Leslie Gibson at [email protected] WINTER GUARD FAMILY & FRIENDS SHOW All CHS band students and families are invited to attend the Winter Guard Family & Friends Show in support of our fabulous Winter Guard. The show takes place this Wednesday, March 29th at Alpharetta H.S. (3595 Webb Bridge Road, Alpharetta 30005). This event is similar to Marching Band Exhibition - the guards perform for one another and supporters but do not compete for placement. So, take a short ride over to Alpharetta H.S. to cheer on the extremely talented CHS Winter Guard!!! Once again, the CHS Winter Guard placed FIRST out of sixteen guards at the Alpharetta H.S. Competition on Saturday, March 18th! Due to this incredibly high score, they have been moved up to the next level - Scholastic Regional A - for competition at the SAPA Championship in Chattanooga on April 1st and 2nd. The show is titled "As Long As You Love Me". Thanks to these students and directors, Terra Johnson and Rachel Cooper, for proudly representing CHS! MATTRESS SALE FUNDRAISER - GREAT SUCCESS!!! Thanks to everyone who distributed fliers and spread the word via email, texts, Twitter and FB. Your hard work paid off to make this a successful fundraiser! Also, thanks to those parents and students who volunteered that day. And a very special thanks to Amy Kennedy, VP of Fundraising, for organizing this event! Concert Band $100 payment of Concert Band Class fees is past due. This fee may be paid with a credit card under My Account in the New Forms Section or by cash/check turned into the Dropbox by Mr. Reid's office. CENTENNIAL CONCERT CLOTHES CLOSET You can help CHS Band students benefit from the music program at Centennial. Do you have a tuxedo or a dress that you no longer need? Please donate your dry-cleaned concert attire to the CCCC, and it will be made available for students to borrow who cannot afford this extra cost. Please email Kara Gibson, Centennial HS Band Senior, at [email protected] to donate your concert tux, tux accessories, or concert dress, or if you have any questions. Local pick-up can be arranged. When someone buys a mattress and mentions a band student’s name or turns in a flier with the student’s name on it, the buyer will get a $50 discount. Also, that student will receive a $50 credit to his or her band account for each mattress bought under his or her name.
